Innovation Academy Community Association Scholarship Application
Dear Graduating Student,
Congratulations on your up and coming graduation. With this application you will be applying for one of two $1000 scholarships. Please complete this application form and submit the requirements by April 13, 2015, 3:00PM. To be considered, applicants must submit the IACS cover sheet (see last page), personal essay, and resume to Mr. Barr, who will then add a copy of your transcript and a college letter of recommendation to your file. Late applications will not be accepted.
Judging is based on a point system that rates the resume, transcript, recommendation, and essay. Student names will be concealed from all records that are reviewed by the panel to promote impartiality. Panelist will include IACS staff and IACA members who do not have students in the current senior class. If there are more than two top scorers, the facilitators will use a lottery to pick two winners. Applicants can score up to 50 points total per judge. There are 5 judges. Neither the applicant nor the winner identities will be revealed to the judges.
